Summary
An integral part to your overall food safety management system is the requirement to use the steps and principles of HACCP to identify, assess, control and monitor food safety hazards that may occur in your food business. If the steps and requirements of HACCP are not correctly undertaken and implemented, there can be significant impacts on both your customers and your business. HACCP Awareness is designed to provide a basic understanding and awareness of HACCP based food safety management systems. This course is also intended to provide you with some basic knowledge for implementing HACCP systems into your food business. The training is presented in 8 separate modules which cover an overview of the 5 preliminary steps and the 7 principles of HACCP. The modular delivery allows you to complete the training at your own pace and within your own time.

AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES
A Certificate of Competency will be provided after you have successfully completed this course (including the knowledge assessment). The criteria to earn a Certificate of Competency and corresponding CEUs for this course includes:
- Successfully completing each of the course lessons, topics, activities and final assessment
- Achieving a pass mark of 70% or more on the final knowledge assessment
