Effectively performing internal audits on your food business is not only a requirement for third-party certification and FSMA compliance but it is also essential for the operation of a successful business. Effective Internal Auditing is an intermediate level course which has been designed to give you a fundamental understanding of how to perform effective internal audits in your food business.
The training is presented in interactive video format which breaks down key learnings, steps and processes in an easy to understand format. You can choose to complete the course all-at-once or in smaller time frames to suit your schedule.
This course includes access to internal auditing templates that can be utilised in your food business.
FSMA Compliance: This course has been designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge required to meet the definition of a qualified auditor as described under §117.180 Requirements applicable to a preventive controls qualified individual and a qualified auditor.

- List key evidence to observe during food GMP inspections
- Classify non-conformances
- Generate audit reports based on audit findings
- Recall effective follow-up implementation methods to prevent non-conformance recurrence

This course is suited to participants who have have an understanding of how the production process works within their business.
AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES
A Certificate of Competency will be provided after you have successfully completed this course (including the knowledge assessment). The criteria to earn a Certificate of Competency and corresponding CEUs for this course includes:
- Successfully completing each of the course lessons, topics, activities and final assessment
- Achieving a pass mark of 70% or more on the final knowledge assessment
