It is recommended that you keep asking questions of your supplier until you are satisfied with the response. If it turns out that your supplier is being difficult, the best thing you can do is change suppliers when you have lost confidence. If you identify major problems which can impact public health, it is best to report the issue to your relevant food safety authority.
