BRCGS – Internal Auditor

The BRCGS Internal Auditor Training course has been designed to give you a full understanding of the general principles of internal auditing, and how to meet the BRCGS internal auditing requirements.

The course includes workshop-led discussions, presentations and an interactive case study. During the live case study, you will be given feedback and support to enable you to carry out an audit at your own workplace.

The training is presented through live virtual modality and breaks down key learning’s, steps and processes in an easy to understand format.

By the completion of this BRCGS training, participants should be able to:

• Be able to plan and conduct an internal audit
• Know how to write concise, accurate and factual audit reports
• Be able to undertake audit follow-up activities.

Who should attend?

This training is suitable for operational, quality and technical staff responsible for managing an internal auditing schedule.  This course is part of the BRCGS Professional series.

Course facilitator:  This course is personally trained by Amanda Evans-Lara who is a BRCGS Approved Virtual Trainer and BRCGS Approved Training Partner with over 30 years’ experience in food safety.

Prerequisite:  It is recommended that participants have an understanding of business processes and BRCGS based Standards.

Delivery: Virtual Live (face-to-face)

Duration: 2 days

Assessment: 50% Course Participation; 50% Course Assignment – Workplace audit; Pass mark 75%

Award: BRCGS Certificate of Achievement (with course pass)

Requirements: A stable internet connection that is capable of streaming video and audio, a webcam and microphone.
