The Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9: Conversion for Sites Training course has been designed to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to successfully implement the changes to the Standard on site.
The training is presented through live virtual modality and breaks down key learning’s, steps and processes in an easy to understand format.

Purpose
To gain a full understanding of the revisions of the Global Standard for Food Safety Issue 9, as well as a review of audit protocol.
Learning Outcomes
By the completion of this BRCGS training, participants should be able to:
- Identify the aims of the BRCGS scheme
- Explain how to meet the requirements if the Standard
- Describe what to expect from your BRCGS audit
- Recognise the changes to the protocol of the Standard
- Utilise and understand the benefits of the BRCGS resources
- Identify and explain the changes to the Standard from Issue 8
Who should attend?
This training is suitable for technical managers, quality managers, food safety / quality teams, retailers, Importers and exporters of food products and consultants.
Course facilitator: This course is personally trained by Amanda Evans-Lara who is a BRCGS Approved Virtual Trainer and BRCGS Approved Training Partner with over 28 years’ experience in food safety.
Prerequisite: Before the course you must have read and reviewed a copy of the Standard which is available free of charge from the BRCGS Bookshop.
Delivery: Virtual Live (face-to-face)
Duration: 1 day (flexible options also available e.g. 2 x half days)
Assessment: At the end of the course you will be assessed with an exam (optional). A total score of 60% or over is required to receive a Pass grade.
Award: BRCGS Certificate of Achievement (with exam pass) OR BRCGS Certificate of Attendance
Requirements: A stable internet connection that is capable of streaming video and audio, a webcam and microphone.
