This HACCP Refresher is designed to refresh your HACCP knowledge on developing, implementing and maintaining a Hazard Analysis Cricital Control Point (HACCP) system.
By the completion of the course, you should be able to:
- Recall the relationship between HACCP and Food Safety
- Identify common good manufacturing practices within a food business
- Identify common food safety hazards and how to control them
- Outline and apply the Principles of HACCP
- List the steps for implementing a HACCP Plan
- Explain how to maintain the HACCP Plan
Course Details
This course is suited to participants who have previously received training in HACCP or have extensive experience in foods safety and HACCP management systems within the food industry. This course is intended to refresh your HACCP knowledge and to meet refresher training requirements stipulated in compliance standards.

HACCP Mentor is accredited by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). HACCP Mentor complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard, which is recognized internationally as a standard of excellence in instructional practices. As a result of this accreditation, HACCP Mentor is accredited to issue the IACET CEU.
A Certificate of Competency will be provided after you have successfully completed this course (including the knowledge assessment). The criteria to earn a Certificate of Competency and corresponding CEUs for this course includes:
- Successfully completing each of the course lessons, topics, activities and final assessment
- Achieving a pass mark of 70% or more on the final knowledge assessment

HACCP Refresher is presented by a qualified trainer. The course meets the requirements for Coles and other GFSI refresher training. Please refer to individual standard requirements for further information.
This refresher course has been based on our HACCP Principles and Application course which has been accredited by the International HACCP Alliance.
This training is suitable for those responsible for the implementation and management of food safety, HACCP and quality systems and processes within a food production environment. This could include HACCP Team leaders, Food Safety and Quality System staff, Technical Managers, Supplier Assurance Managers, Product Development and Innovation Managers and Procurement staff.
COURSE LEVEL: Intermediate
DURATION: 4-6 hours
FORMAT: This is a self-paced online course that you can start at any time. Automatic access is provided after successful registration and payment.

This training is delivered online. The HACCP Mentor training videos are able to be viewed on almost every OS including Mac OS, Windows and Linux. You should also be able to view this training on your apple or android mobile device (with the exception of Blackberry device).
We also work with all of the major browsers and versions of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Opera, etc. Online training delivered through the HACCP Mentor website uses online videos which will work on any browser that supports Adobe Flash and/or HTML5. The only requirement for viewing Flash content is Flash Player 9 or greater. To ensure the best play-back, we typically recommend remaining up to date with your Flash version whenever possible.
